Het vliegveld van Schaffen is een militair vliegveld, civiele vliegtuigen zijn enkel toegelaten in het weekend en op feestdagen. Het vliegveld is verder strictly PPR (Prior Permission Required), want militaire activiteiten zijn nooit uitgesloten. Om toestemming te vragen contacteer je vooraf de pleincommandant op +32 473 51 52 70.

Alle verdere details kan je terugvinden in het vliegveldhandboek en de pilot briefing. Je bent verplicht om beide documenten aandachtig door te nemen alvorens naar EBDT af te zakken.

The Schaffen airfield is a military airfield; civilian aircraft are only permitted during weekends and public holidays. The airfield is strictly PPR (Prior Permission Required) because military activities might take place even in weekends and during holidays.
